After seeing kmitchel's thread earlier this year about an autographed Douglas Adams card from a card set that I had NO idea existed, I set out looking for one. Came across one copy that the seller wanted almost $1,000 for and then one showed up on eBay...now it's mine Card is limited to 100 copies.

The only crap thing is that the card is a base card that is signed by Douglas Adams and has no other marks differentiating it from the set. Have a contact who is good with autographs and he gave me the thumbs up.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is EASILY my favourite book of all time. Adored the BBC series as a kid and loved the recent movie with Mos Def.

So stoked this is in my collection

Very nice addition AND its the card before mine in the set. I wonder if anyone has tried to do the full set.

I actually didn't notice that...maybe they sent him one complete set to sign each card? Thanks for pointing this card out to me, man. I've been a fan of this book since grade school
