Hats off to Sather...He's really done some great work over the last couple of years to get this team where it needs to be. As soon as a Cally deal is done, all our young talent is locked up, we have a dominant 1st line center, a 40+ goal scorer, a dominant defense and a world class goalie. Mix in all the young talent in the minors and the Blueshirts are looking like a pretty solid squad if I do say so myself.

I think 4.2 is fair.....look at the NHL salaries....there are about 35 players making between 4 and 4.75 mil and I'd take duby over 80% of them...hes coming off the best year of his career and has improved in each of his last 3 seasons...if the progress continues which we all think it will, in 2 years we can have a 70-80 point player for 4.2 a yr which in this NHL is a steal....Not to mention he's one of our best penalty killers, very good defensively, and a great shot blocker...he gives 100% every night and has leader qualities....4.2 pretty much nailed it on the head.

Good signing by Sather. Dubinsky was involved in too many trade rumors. Now he can concentrate on playing hockey. The Rangers still have a few guys to sign but are starting to run out of cap room. So much for McCabe and Prospal.
