Abramov could be a future NHL'er, Davidsson is a long shot. The (potentially) 2 first round picks is what drives this deal. If Columbus a. signs Duchene and b. somehow misses the playoffs after this I'd get a good chuckle out of it (notwithstanding the pick being lottery-protected).

It is an OK deal for Ottawa if Duchene leaves Columbus in FA. Much better if he stays and resigns.

Still, I agree with Barrie. Colorado is the big winner regardless.
