Id say auction at 99 cents starting bid. there is a chance it could go for more. Buy it now at 99 cents you will only get 99 cents!

Buy It Now with a reasonable starting + shipping price is fair I think. I know I've passed on a few crazy listings for my PC for base cards, but have hit BIN for lower end cards that have a reasonable shipping price attached to them.

For low end stuff like set-killing inserts, if it has a reasonable shipping charge, I would hit a .99 BIN in a second. But, if say, a .99 starting auction got up to 1.75, it loses its appeal to me.

All depends whether you want the card out of your life ASAP, or want to let it ride for less than a buck more.

But if it hits $1.75 then he has made more off the card so if it scares a couple buyers away does it matter?

Like I said. All depends whether he wants the card out of his life ASAP, or if he wants to wait 10 days for a few cents more.

Buy it now are good for me lately... I had near 800 low end to sell (upper deck 1& 2 inserts from the past 2-3 years), i made some .99$ auctions and sold almost nothing.

In my first 30 days for those cards, I sold +/- 250 cards at .99$.

As a buyer, if it's a low-end insert or parallel I'm going to completely ignore a $.99 auction that I'll have to watch for days - it's just not worth the time and energy - especially knowing that if someone else bids I'm out anyway.

If it's a $.99 BIN with reasonable shipping I'm likely to grab it just so I can cross it off the list and be done with it.

Now for mid- to higher-end cards that I'm willing to pay a bit more than $.99 for, I'll watch those for the chance at getting something that's overlooked by bidders for $2 or $3 ending bid where the BIN's are $5+ (but I don't believe those are the types of cards you're asking about).
