Mavericksports has a ton of nice stuff on Ebay now. I'm not intentially spamming for him/her, but was wondering (based on a post about Broydeur) whether there is any connection between Mavericksports and Broydeur that would make one worry about buying from Mavericksports?

The feedback looks good and he takes paypal, but just wondering.

We just received a card from Mavericksports in the mail today... they are good. His name is Andrew and the card came in good time and was well packaged.

There are 2 - One is Maverick*Sports and the other is Mavericksports. The Maverick*Sports is a guy named Andrew Corbett from St. Johns and I have had no problems with this seller, the other I have no information on.

Yes, I just realized this too... Andrew Corbett is maverick*sports and JAmes Bedwany is mavericksports. I've spoken with James and he seems like a very nice guy and he says he owns a cardshop since 1988... not sure how quickly he ships, etc though...

I have dealt with mav before and didn't have any problems at all. Let's see what everyone else says.

I as well have dealt with Andrew. No Fuss, No hassle.

As stated - there is a maverick*sports in St. John's, NL and I would be amazed if anyone ever had any problems with Andrew. I have never dealt with the other one, as far as I know though I have some of his items on my watch list from time to time.

I'll agree with the crowd here, Andrew is top notch. One of the fastest Canada-US shippers I have ever dealt with.

But yes, I did notice quite a bit of Denis Angers (broydeur) stuff listed with Andrew's EBay name? Maybe Andrew bought a large portion of his collection?

??????

Also possible that James agreed to handle some things for Denis on a commission basis.

Now that the name's on the table, I recall several deals with James - all were excellent.

Good point Steve.

Sorry, I think I mixed up Andrew and James' names and Ebay id's did I not?

So I was a bit curious as to what Steve said in the aforementioned so I went and checked some items I had bid on recently and sure enough, I got outbid by "mavericksports" on a couple high-end Roy items recently.

So I know he may be selling some of Denis cards but doesn't it look a little odd when he is bidding on Roy material as well?

I mean again, he could be buying for himself or the shop but just knowing the kinds of things Denis buys and the things that have been bid on.......I don't, nothing to do with me really, just interesting fodder I suppose!:p

I believe mavericksports has been buying for Broydeur as well. I received a paypal payment from mavericks email but the address to ship to had been changed to Mr. Angers.

Broydeur just bought my dual embelm of Roy from 02-03 Ultimate and payed on time. All is fine so far for me. Anything I should be on the lookout for ?

James Bedwany of mavericksports is a top notch ebay member. Purchased several high end cards from him. Received them quickly and well packaged.

Thanks
Jack

The only time i have ever had a bad time on Ebay was from mavericksports. All i got was the envelope in the mail. lol.I see he has a ton of feedback thats positive so i must have been just unlucky. He does have some nice cards though. I might buy from him again.

Maverick sports sold a card that was stolen from me (really SP'ed patch (it had the same patch so I could tell)). And when I emailed them they said they cant help it. I dunno anything about Broydeur though.
