Hey folks,

This is very VERY late - but I wanted to show off some thing I grabbed at Emerald City Comic Con. This isn't everything but a few of the pieces I got.

Sorry for the crappy photos.

Break out the scanner Q!

I was surprised to see an ECCC thread, as I'm just starting to plan my trip for next year. There's so many artists, I'm at a loss as to who the priority is, so plenty of advance prep is required!

I really like that Astro City print, one of the few non mainstream Marvel books that I still pickup religiously.

While I love all the movies of recent years, super hero comics never did it for me as a kid. I was more of a Archie and Richie Rich comic reader so I love that Archie cover artwork. Great piece.

Hey Kev, I realize this is a two year old thread (almost!), but curious if you're headed there this upcoming March?!
I might just start a new thread and see if any others here are headed over to Seattle?

Lu,

After going to ECCC in both '13 and '14, I've decided to skip this one. I'll hit the FanExpo locally - but going to Seattle the last two years costs me a fair chunk of change with the missus and kid coming with and staying for 3 nights etc.

Figured, I'd save the money this year as no one on the guest list is a must get, and I'm assuming many of the guests will do Vancouver as it's just a week later.

I for some reason thought the fanexpo was going to be in the summer time. Oops. My bad. I'm just headed there for a day (and a night), so it shouldn't be too pricey.

Is there a big difference between the two shows in anyway (between the vancouver and seattle shows)?

thanks!
