I'm not sure if this was appropriate for the Hobby Talk forums (maybe it is, maybe it isn't) so I just decided to throw this up in the ePack forums.

This may have been discussed before, but does anyone know (maybe it's listed in the Terms of Agreement?) what will happen to our ePack cards if/when we are 'inactive' over a long period of time?

This topic peaked my interest today, mainly because there is a Enroth Printing Plate on there I would love to acquire, but the seller has no interest/holding it hostage/or unable to reply to my friendly messages I have left them to make a deal for this plate. So what will happen to this card in the future?

Will it just sit in limbo forever, or will there be a "timer" on it (say 10 years, for example), before it is 'released' to the public or listed to COMC after inactivity by the original cardholder to keep this flow of goods moving somehow? Now I know this might not seem fair, but I guess you could make a case after prolonged inactivity or a deactivated account or something of the sort.

Now, I'm not sure if UD cares about this, seeing as how the box it came out of has already been paid for, but it does make you wonder what will happen to all of these bigger hits that will be 'stuck' on Upper Deck ePack.

There are three henrique (2 plates and 1 patch) currently in the same situation.

I personally think that they are as good as gone.
I check in on them weekly just because you never know if they person will suddenly remember they have stuff to trade or move.

Sorry to hear that man. Hoping you can one day pry them out of their electronic hands.

Who knows, maybe one day they just throw it all up on COMC for some extra funds.

So we'll just have to wait and see.

You really can't put a timer on this kind of thing. It is the property of whoever pulled them. It is the same as someone who collected as a kid, then shoved the cards into a box and into storage for years and years.

I totally agree. The only difference is that someone can see these. What if they like them and want to keep them? They are not replying messages, so what?
