I seem to recall someone asking about the condition of cards you would receive from ePack through COMC or shipped directly from ePack (also handled by COMC). I have had numerous shipments from them over the past year and a bit with no problems or concerns. That is until I looked more closely at my Shipping Invoice which they emailed me yesterday. This showed up on it:

I added the /25 notation for my own info. So, even though this card would have gone directly from Upper Deck to COMC it has been dinged somehow. Maybe in the production process, through shipping to COMC or handling by COMC. I have no way to be certain. With no offense intended or disrespect to the player involved, at least it is only a Mike Hoffman card, and not someone of more value. Any thoughts/ comments?

Dave.

I’d say email upper decks QA. I currently have a couple cards from e pack with issues and they are working with me on replacements. Their e pack email acts up sometimes and they might be a little delayed but they will work with you on this!

I brought this up to them at the expo.

Off centring was brutal on Platinum cards...the photo shows perfect centring. Apparently all epack cards are one stock photo.

Young Guns had bad chipping and corner dings. The ding's look like it came from someone putting them into soft sleeves too fast. Being an uncirculated card they should be pretty near perfect but they are far from it.

As a FYI I don't expect perfect cards but was surprised at how bad they where. It felt to me like they where cards that where sent back to UD and then resent out as epack cards some where that bad.

Received the card from COMC today. If they were a grading company they would be the toughest. The "ding" is miniscule.
