Not sure if anyone's seen this, but Erik Johnson sent out a tweet that he'd donate $1 for every retweet he got yesterday to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The initial tweet got over 36k retweets and he posted his donation receipt earlier today.

Real stand up guy.

What a class act by EJ.

I have comrades who will definitely benefit from this donation.

Very nice of him, truly... I don't mean to be a debbie-downer in what I'm about to say... all of what I'm going to say aside, that was genuinely a nice thing to do on his part, kudos to Erik. ...but this kind of brings this whole CBA thing into perspective. Some people make that in a year's salary, still in this day.

^^^ I don't know what your trying to say? Yes it's professional sports they make 6-7 figures. If anything this helps justify that these athletes can be amazing people and know how to spend the high salaries they are paid. That's the price of a low paying salary but it's also the price of a new car, and instead of buying toys he donated to one of the best charities in America. I'm currently writing a thesis paper on why athletes deserve every penny they are paid, I plan on using this in my paper. I'm glad I saw this.
