With the combination of 22-23 and 23-24 products being released, which products do you think will be eligible for the wrapper redemption this year?
Thanks

I don't know... they seem to like to give products that aren't selling well a boost too... I don't know that I'd go with anything current that is flying off the shelves...

In the past yes but with the price of UD2, I can see them allowing that. Parkhurst Champions definitely isn't flying off the shelves and I doubt 2022-23 Ultimate will either.

Parkhurst Champions looks like a nice product, but at close to 200Cad taxes in, I decided to stay out at the moment. I'm taking the guess that this product will get serious discounts for the Black Friday sales next fall.

blog got updated last night with info: https://www.upperdeckblog.com/2024/04/2024-spring-sports-card-memorabilia-expo/

I really wish UD would have asked us what we needed to move as dealers. I am still sitting with a ton of 21-22 and 22-23 Extended, 21-22 Credentials and 22-23 Metal Universe. Why not put those on the list and allow us to have a chance at moving them at cost?

That checklist is rough. I figured they would have had at least a Bedard in the base set. Victory black would have been nice also. No Bedard at all is strange.

Wow, sticker dump on those NHL Parkhurst Priority Signings lol

NHL Parkhurst Priority Signings Exclusives much better.

The Bedard Victory Black is in the National Hockey Card Day packs, isn't it?

Personally, I think it's okay to not have Bedard in everything. He's in almost everything.

You might be ok with it but the point of the wrapper redemption is to have some fun but also help LCS move some product that would otherwise sit. By not have Bedard in the product does not help. If a person walking the show could buy a box and hit a $10-$20 expo Bedard and a chance at a priority signing they might be more inclined to do it. The only option unfortunately is case break for a /5 auto.

As a side note I have seen what a great wrapper redemption program looks like. Went to the National this year and it was unreal. Topps Heritage and Bowman University Football where both dead products by that time. The wrapper redemption program was so good both products jumped 50% in one day. I opened a bunch of cases. It was amazing what Topps does. The lineup to Topps booth was crazy. How cool would it be if UD did something awesome and all the dealers moved a ton of dead product and buyers where also happy to be buying it.

IDK just my thoughts
