I'm glad this wasn't done at the expense of his team (ie. taking the first couple snaps and sitting on the sideline the entire game just to keep the streak alive.) This is going to be one of those untouchable ironman streaks like Cal Ripken's.

I wouldn't be terribly sure about that. Manning is up over 200 already and has a shot to get there.

Manning is 92 games away which is almost another six years of football - not to say he can't do it but that's a long way to go yet.

I think they said that the streak would be 321 if you included the playoffs - that is just insane - when they asked Brett about including the playoff games he said (I am paraphrasing here) "Why wouldn't you include the playoffs - those games matter too"

Love him or hate him - he left it on the field - hats off to Brett.
