Well since it is the end of the year. MOst wrestling sites have a vote for match of the year. I figured I go one further, and go with your favorite match of all time. It can be from any company(WWE,WCW,ECW,) etc, Heck it can even be from a local company at your local form.

For me it is a tie

Wrestle MAnia 3
Randy Savage VS Rickey Steamboat

one of the best back and forth matches, with so many near falls still on the edge of my seat when I watch that one.

Summer Slam Wemley Stadium
Brett HArt VS The British Bulldog

Two guys who new each other inside out, and new what the other guy was going to do before he did it. with the crowd on the edge the whole match.

would like to hear what other people think is there greates match.

I have to go with Man Kind(Nick Foley) VS Undertaker in the cage (King of the ring maybe?) This match has it all......man kind gets thrown down through a cage from 20 feet up, gets a tooth knocked out (which gets lodged in his nose cavaity), seperates his shoulder and gets body slammed on a bucket of thumb tacks.

Bar none the best match ever. Damn I can't wait to get home to fire up the old VCR, pop some popcorn and rewatch that match.

Yea this takes the cake, 20 ft on top of thumbtacks.

I'm old school, I have to go with Ricky Steamboat vs Randy Savage at WrestleMania III. The Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels Iron Man match is a close second, but my all time favourite match was The British Bulldogs vs The Dream Team for the WWF World Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania II. Not necessarily for content as much as it was to finally see the Bulldogs get the titles after seeing them screwed out of it four times at the Maple Leaf Gardens.

Rob Van Dam vs. Bam Bam Bigelow I

Rob Van Dam leaps into like the fourth row from the top of the turnbuckle. I don't think anyone has ever duplicated that feat.

Part 1: You Tube

Part 2: Part 2 You Tube

Bad quality I know, good thing I have a good copy somewhere.

I would have to say from a pure fan point of view (taking all my wrestling knowledge or whatever out of the equation), it would be Rock Vs Hogan. The show they put on, and the show the CROWD put on just made that so much fun to watch and enjoy.

I can proudly say that I was there for that...that crowd was so ridiculously pro-Hogan and anti-Rock that whatever dub-over they did on the DVD makes in only that much more ridiculous.

I can't pick a favorite because, over the years, my standards for a "good" match have changed.

Bret/Shawn Ironman Match is up there. Austin/Bret Submission match is up there. Sting/Hogan at Starrcade 97 should have been epic if Hogan didn't ruin it.

My favorite classic match is probably Hogan/Warrior from Wrestlemania VI. Two ridiculously over faces (I loved Warrior at the time and HATED Hogan) who, despite limited abilities, put on a hell of a performance.

My favorite recent match is probably Bryan Danielson vs KENTA from Glory by Honor V (2006). Two great wrestlers putting on a clinic. Great pacing and story-telling with an action-packed finish.

I was there too and I have to admit, as a wrestling fan of the past 25 years, I have never witnessed anything like that in my life. That Toronto crowd was insane!

Giant Gonzalez vs. Undertaker from Wrestlemania IX. My God...that whole show was amazing from start to finish, and this was the best match on the card followed closely behind Hogan vs. Yokozuna...one of the finest moments in Pro Wrestling History.

I'll have a real submission once I think about this more.

I would have to say the best matches over the past five years all have been ROH matches. Joe vs. Kobashi were awesome.

Kobashi vs. Misawa in the mid 90's were among the best matches of all time. There hasn't been a good WRESTLING match in the WWF /E since Benoit Died or Angle left.

We've kept it up...Toronto has a habit of booing the hell out of the good guys and cheering the bad guys. They wind up making the bad guys bad mouth Toronto to get the heat back on them. I was at the RAW and SmackDown tapings last night and it was the same thing...

I was about to mention another ROH match. How about?

Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk in the Iron Man Match?

or a TNA match

Christopher Daniels vs. AJ STyles in the Iron Man Match, the first one was really great, the second was really good!

A TNA classic: Unbreakable 2005--Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels. EPIC match.

Triple B--They were at it again this past monday. Booing the hell out of CM Punk and cheering loudly for Jericho. Ditto for Cena & Santino.

The WWE has the occasional "good" wrestling match. The last installment of Cena/Michaels was surprisingly good. And for as much crap as Cena gets, he's motivated and not terrible.

I have another one I'd like to toss out as well--the first Samoa Joe/Necro Butcher match from IWA:Mid-South. One of those rare matches where the stiffness was far more brutal than any chair shot or landing through a table. That and hearing CM Punk, on commentary, yelling "HOW DO YOU GET POWERSLAMMED ON YOUR FOREHEAD?!"
