My gut feeling is that he'll get the itch to play and will be there at training camp before anyone else. Plus, that 10M is a BIG incentive to play also.
Honestly if he wanted to retire he would have by now, at seasons end. Only thing that may hold him back is wife or nagging health issues. Otherwise I got to believe he will be throwing the ball again this coming season.
plus he might have the new best TE tandum in football. He might demand an offensive line upgrade. McCarthy is a run first type guy and he may just do that to pick up the running game. This would open Brett up for alot of play action.
I think he cares about records--Its his legacy. Otherwise he would have sat a game or two when he had an injury.
Farve definately has that one thing you can't teach and that is heart. You can tell he loves to play the game and those are the guys that stick it out the longest. I tip my hat to him whatever he decides he has had one heck of a great career!!!
