Fedor signs with Strikeforce

Yawn... Given how much Strikeforce is probably paying Fedor, I wonder how long until they go belly up.

I guess he'll be fighting Overeem, Werdum or Brett Rogers? While I'd like to see him fight Overeem, I think he'll smash Werdum and Rogers pretty easily.

I wonder how long the contract is for?

Does Strikeforce promote overseas fights? If so this is likely a gateway to the Fedor/Barnett fight.

However I would be happy to see an Overeem fight also. The Demolition Man is still an all time favorite.

Queue the people saying Fedor is scared of Lesnar.

anyone seea posible fedor vs Lashley fight on the Horizon that would be huge for strikeforce considering lashley name is still pretty big

There is actually a few intriguing matches for Fedor in Strikeforce.

Overeem, Werdum, Rodgers (the Obvious).

Randleman who somehow lost after suplexing Fedor in their previous fight (vid)

Bobby Lashley could probably be done.

Oh and who wouldn't want to see Fedor/Bob Sapp?

Strikeforce hasn't as of yet promoted any overseas shows. Until the showtime deal Strikeforce was pretty much; though not entirely a California based promotion.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if CBS/Showtime were responsible for part of Fedor's salary as Scott Coker has been successful largely due to his business plan of not going out and signing a bunch of high priced "stars" like Affliction did.

I'm curious to know how many fights the contract is for. The biggest issue with signing with Strikeforce is that there are 3 fights that could pass off as acceptable. And I don't think that Strikeforce can develop any other compelling challengers; they would have to rely on the UFC releasing, or a fighter not re-signing with them.
