Thank you Todd (scandalz8hlx) !
Here is a long story short :
February 2019: The card is released on eBay and is sold quickly. I have other series to buy so I lose sight of it after a few months. At least I know it's somewhere out there. From time to time I look for it on the groups.
January 25, 2021: as I can't find the only 3 other cards I'm missing, I actively look for that card. I post on FB groups, I search Twitter, forums, Instagram. This is where I finally found Niko S who sold the 2018-19 SPGU Sam Steel # 21/21 auto on eBay.
January 26: I subscribe to Instagram and I write to Niko S to ask him if he can find his buyer on his eBay sales, in case it was the same person who also bought the # 58/58 of Nicolas. As I am new, he is reluctant at first, but after discussion he decides to write to the buyer. Niko S has been a gentleman from start to finish, he was in contact with the buyer over a few days for me.
January 28: The buyer of the Sam Steel is the same that bought the Nicolas Roy I'm looking for. He agrees to give his eBay username to Niko S so he could give it to me.
January 29: Niko S gives me the contact, it happens to be scandalz8hlx. At first, Todd is willing to listen to me, but since spgu jersey number auto are part of his personnal collection, he wants to hold on it.
We exchange a couple messages in February. At some point I make him an offer. Some discussion later, Todd finally agrees to move the card at a price I agree to. The deal is finally complete on march 7th. A little more than 2 years after the card was first sold on eBay.
----------
In short, if you really want to build up your pc, don't give up!
I now stand at 69/72 unique rookie cards in my Nicolas Roy pc. It's quite a marathon!
Thanks again Todd !
