I have been working on this set for a while now.So today the last card I needed arrived. So I have gotten to the end of another set build. Take note of the Album.
I always thought these were a mail in offer. But apparently they could be purchased right at the store. The thing i like about this one is that it has a stamp that it
was sold in Halifax Nova Scotia, I bought it in Alberta. So it has sort of made its way back home. Thanks

Winston

What a wonderful looking set all together with the album.. I really like how the album went from NS to AB and back to NS.

Thanks a lot for the show and what is next up in your collecting future?

Great looking set Winston that sure brings back memories of my EARLY collecting days AND went food issues were the alternative!
More of those sets, a must, should be posted.

Great set my friend and congrats on finding the album as well. I still have my Mahovlich that you gifted me at a long ago Expo, always thankful for that.
Cheers.
Dan.

Dan, I looked for a long time to find an unused album. I could not find one ,or at least not for a price I could afford. So I bought this one. It has 5 cards in it.So my next step is to try and steam them free from the album without taking any paper with them when they set themselves free.I did it one time with a complete set of CFL that was in an album. So I know it can be done. Thanks.

Very cool Winston. Like others, I love the album too! Congrats on completing the set!

I have always loved the uniqueness of this set (and it may have inspired one of my homemade Whalers sets ;) ).

Thanks for sharing, and if anyone can make that album happen, it’s you man!!!

Awesome Winston. I still need the Faulkner.

Your Faulkner is a different year. They seem to be hard to find because when ever one comes up for sale they are bought up.It may be something that you could consider. Is buy an album that someone has started that may have a few cards in it.And if the Faulkner is there you can get one at a good price.Just steam it free from the album.Good luck.

Way to go, Winston. I met you years ago at a card show in Fredericton, and you continue to be an asset to the hobby and for fellow collectors.

Beautiful set Winston!!! Huge congratulations on its completion.... but Woodside is Dartmouth...lol!!JK!! Cheers!! Paul!!!

Paul, I did not know that. The person that started the album put their name in the inside. I should try and track them down so I could show them a complete set. I did find an unused album but when it arrived .It had come from a smokers house. When I opened it ,I was almost sick to my stomach. I am trying to air it out but it is not working all that well.TTYS

Everything Faulkner sells well. He is the first NL born NHL player and is an icon here, a real hero. We are the reason his stuff sells so high, NL love the guy and everyone here collects NL born players.

There was a person at our local card shows that collected him heavy as well.I do not believe there was any connection between this collector and Faulkner but I did not know the history or reason why. All I knew was if you had a Faulkner rookie in any condition it was a sure sale. At last count he had like 40 plus.Thanks.
