For all MMA/UFC Fans...

Royce Gracie is still around? Been years since I have heard his name. Can't wait for this one.

Thanks
Dan Wise Old Man

i need to watch that, i actually meet and spared with a man named JOE, that was from his camp in columbus ohio a few years ago..this dude was big and talked liked michael jackson and his hand shake was limp--odd, beside that he was tough

when is the fight??

All that was announced was that it was May of this year and would be the Main Event at the UFC PPV.

I had the honor of training with Enzo Gracie and a few members of the Lion's Den, known as being the camp that Ken Shamrock started.

The first UFC I ever saw was when Royce Gracie Fought Dan Severn, who was supposedly unbeatable. Gracie caught him with a roundhouse kick and knocked him out cold. He knelt down next to Severn, folden his hands, bowed his head for a second and then got up and walked back to the lockerroom...didnt wait for an announcement, didnt have his hand raised, just walked out in silence.

UFC is awesome, cause it's about the only real wrestling/fighting that's left anymore...but personally guys I can't wait until "The Natural" Randy Coutor(sp?) faces off one mroe time for the Light Heavyweight Title against "The Iceman" Chuck Liddell, for their THIRD time to see who breaks the tie!

Last tourney I was in, I saw a guy get put into a Kimora (arm lock) and refused to submit. His opponent cinched it and snapped his forearm. He passed out from the pain...never submitted. Some of the guys in this sport are nuts. If someone has me for sure, they have me. Rather take a loss than a broken arm.

I'm really looking forward to that fight in May! The UFC has some awesome fights scheduled this year. The fight I'm waiting for is Shamrock/Ortiz. I didn't like the way Ortiz left the UFC talking all that smack to Ken, and then wouldn't back it up by signing the fight.

I attend every King Of The Cage fight in the western US. If you ever get a chance to check one of those events out, I suggest taking it. Terry puts on one hell of a show! I'm really bummed out I can't make it to Pheonix this weekend to see Joe Riggs fight. :(
