Forever Rivals---Leafs fans please look

As you can tell from my username that I am a Habs fan.

I would like to get a case of Forever Rivals but the Leafs cards would all be traders. I am not sure if any Leaf fans are interested but would you like to split a case with me?

After tax and shipping it would be about $550 a piece.

I get all of the Habs hits.

You get all of the Leafs hits.


The cards that have both teams we would draft out. We can figure out a way who gets the first pick.

Funny thing is me and Richard (RGM81) were talking about this about a month ago, but after thinking about it, most likely the case would not yield the exact same number of hits for each team, thus I am sure one person will be happy with the case, and the other left standing in the rain. It is a great idea, and I wish I had the funds to split a case of this stuff (for Habs hits only), but I am the type of person that wants to see everyone get great stuff. Even if they are Leafs fans, LOL.

I had originally thought that one team would most likely come out ahead as well. I then looked at the checklist and everything from base to inserts to autos to auto jerseys to jerseys are split 50/50. The lone differences are that the Trophy Winners jersey set 8 of 12 are Montreal and the Cup Winners jersey set 15 of 21 are Montreal. Other than that the product is split exactly 50/50.

The lone exception may be the autos. Some players are SP'd and how knows how short printed that some of those players are.

Man, I should have done my research. If the 50/50 is the case, then props to ITG and Dr. Price, and this set will be a winner during this time of lockout. Not saying it will be as good as 08-09 UD Habs Centennial, but it will come real close...you can't go wrong with a set of the two franchises that probably have the widest collector base out there (sorry, not meaning anything against the other original six teams, and I would be the first to love seeing an Original 6 series make a comeback (*cough*cough* Dr. Price?)...

It may be 50/50, BUT the hit of a lifetime could be in the case and each buyer should have a shot at it. Whether it be your team or not. If I was doing a case with one other interested party, I'd randomize the pick order and draft every single card from the case. That way everyone gets good stuff, AND a shot at duals from both teams.

Just my thoughts.
