From The '09 Fall Expo - An Unexpected Find

A fairly newish tradition is to enter the Expo hall and head to Quincy's booth to say 'hi'. Almost directly opposite from Steve was a dealer who had stacks of Bronze age comics. I ended up buying 120 comics ( 15 different issues).

Great stuff! I always liked those "what if" titles....

I loved What If stories too. Actually I love comic stories that can be told in one issue as opposed to dragging it out over 6-8 issues.

Damn...Man From Atlantis! Anyone else old enough to remember the tv series with what's his face from Dallas? That was a badass show...

Those "What If..." titles were also ones that I never missed buying as a kid.

Not sure how I missed this post? Great stuff, you have some fun reads there. I am a big fan of the "What if" books, I especially enjoy the Conan based ones.
