The only player I have actually shaken hands with is Mario Lemieux. His son used to practice at the same rink as me when I was still playing in college. I was running late for practice one day and he was coming out of the locker room at the same time. After I picked up my jaw I managed to get my brain to work enough to thank him since it was just after the Pens reached their arena deal.Unfortunately, none of his talent spread to me.
