Season series: The Washington Capitals won three of four games against the Carolina Hurricanes last season, including the two played at Verizon Centre. Washington goaltender Braden Holtby went 2-1-0 with a 1.70 goals-against average and .946 save percentage in three games, and forward Alex Ovechkin had a goal and two assists.

Hoping the Caps can keep up the momentum they built up last game. A few defensive lapses that Holtby snuffed out, so if we can get those under control, they are going to be a difficult team to play against. Plus, Backstrom may be coming back tonight.
