Fast facts

How they got here: Dallas (11-5) won the NFC East. Philadelphia (11-5) won the second NFC wild card spot.
Series record: Cowboys lead, 55-43, and have a 2-1 advantage in the playoffs. Dallas swept the series this season, 20-16, on the road Nov. 8 ; and 24-0 in the season finale at home on Sunday.
Streaks: Dallas has won four of the last six meetings.
Last time met: The Cowboys won an utterly one-sided affair Sunday, taking the division in the process. Tony Romo threw for 311 yards, the second time this season he topped 300 yards against the Eagles. Running backs Marion Barber and Felix Jones each ran for 91 yards, and wideouts Patrick Crayton and Miles Austin each topped 90 yards receiving. It was a dominating performance for Dallas, which had 21 first downs to 10 for the Eagles. Donovan McNabb failed to top 230 yards passing in either game against Dallas. In the first meeting, he was sacked four times and threw two interceptions.

Odds:
Dallas is favoured by 4
Over/Under: 45

EAGLES!

Much like the Bengals/Jets game I see all 3 re-match games this weekend having the same victor but with closer results.

Cowboys 34 Eagles 23

Winning three times against one team is difficult. Sooner or later Romo is gonna win big games (by skill or fluke)! I take Dallas 28-24

Beating a team 3 times in one year is tough! So that is why I am taking the Eagles in this one.

I never understood that arguement. It's playoffs both teams are coming up gunning and really do you think any player on the field is thinking oh well we beat them or lost to them twice this season?

As a big Cowboys fan they need this win. It'll get all the crtics off our backs. I'm so sick of hearing about Romo's inability to win in big games. Romo has been great this year, he is the reason why we managed to come away with the NFC east. I'm sick of seeing that Tony Romo fumble on the kick against the Seahawks in the playoffs. I'm sick of hearing how bad a coach Wade Phillips is. I'm also sick of that TO speech "But that's my quarterback". Win this game Cowboys for all the fans out there who desperately need it.

Sorry my mini rant. But I'm super excited for the game!

Since 1970, 19 teams have beaten a team twice in the regular season and then met again in the playoffs...

... the team winning twice is 12-7 in those games.
