I loved it - it was fun to watch, but it had stories too - the reverence the players showed to Jagr, the pulling for John Scott.... it was funny how Kane was getting booed every time he touched the puck, until he went into the little mock fight with John Scott.

I do think that if they keep with the format, they need to add a couple of players to each team - the final period of the final game was slow as the guys were simply out of gas. Even if you want to add a guaranteed rookie spot to each team, get another set of legs or two on each team. Also, get rid of the 'penalties' - give the team an immediate penalty shot, and go from there. Not that there were many chances for penalties of course...

But all and all - a great, fun time. Congrats to Nashville as host, and congrats to John Scott.

I was thinking about that yesterday Cory, the Young Stars game was always fun, those kids played hard. Larkin was a star out there yesterday, would have loved to see each team have 2 rookies included which would have added some spice. I was imaging what it would have been like to have McDavid (if healthy), Eichel, Panarin, Domi, Gostisbehere, Bennett, Ehlers, etc out there. They would fly around in 3 on 3 and put on a show.
