Calgary Bluenote (Steve) and I walked over to Julie's store today (Collector's Books and Cards) here in downtown Calgary to do our usual weekly gab & gawk.
Met with the regular gang to talk about Sweet Shot, SPA Rookies, Ultimate, Shea Weber, the price of oil vs. the price of gasoline, blah blah blah...... and most importantly... whether or not a person should buy the $45 Going For Gold or the $75 Going For Gold box. The cheaper one guarantees either an auto or a memorabilia, while the more expensive box guarantees one of each.
Well, being the guniea pig that I am (as well as needing a cellophane ripping fix), I took a chance on one of the double-guarantee boxes.
As well as the nice-looking base set of 30 cards, these popped out as well

oops, the smiles are for the second card.......
, etc. etc. etc.
