Im going to St Louis in April to watch the Hawks and Blues play. my question where are good hotels to stay at around the rink?? any help would be great. thanks

yup, there is one about a block south of the Scottrade center, can't think of the brand, maybe a Sheraton... and Union Station has a hotel too, which is a block west.

*edit*

link to Sheraton in STL

as mentioned before, about a block south of the center.

thanks for the info. you wouldnt know how much parking is at the game. the sheraton is already full for that night. so we are just covering everything.

parking in the garage attached to Scottrade is in the $10-20 range if i remember. there are various lots in the area that range from $5 to $15ish.

hotel wise, you could always stay in IL (O'Fallon, Shiloh or Fairview Heights) and drive over or ride transit (Metro Link).

or... there is a Hilton by Busch Stadium. prolly 6-9 blocks from Scottrade.

Buddy of mine is the sales director at the Millennium downtown, which is probably a $10 cab ride from Scotttrade. I can ask him about rates if you want.

Otherwise, depending on what you plan on doing, staying in Illinois is cheaper and the Metrolink will run you right to the game. It also runs pretty late, so you can hit Soulard or the Central West End for some fun.

If I can be of any help (although I don't live there any more), let me know.

Sheraton is where the players that dont have a place in town stay/live (or at least it was a couple yeas ago) - decent place. I have stayed at the Ballpark Hilton down there as well which is nice and just down the road a little ways.

thanks for the help. we decided to stay at hyatt regecy at the arch. the wife and the kid thought it was a cool place to stay with the other things we will be doing while we are there.
