Good Sets To Complete?

Hey everyone,

As the fall and winter seasons approach, things outside become more and more limited to do so i'm looking for a cool set to complete as a project.

1) Trying to avoid base card sets - They get boring
2) Don't want an overly expensive set to build like a Young Guns set because I don't have $100 to blow on the top Young Gun and I don't have very good cards to trade

BUT...

I will take suggestions. So please comment below what are some fun and cool sets

Series One Game Jerseys always look cool and can be picked up for pennies.

Black Diamond tiered set.

I wouldn't do game jersey as they have triple digit SSP cards. If you can't pay 100 for top YGs, you probably don't want to pay for a triple digit Gretzky.

You know, double diamond, triple, quad, etc. If you pick a year like Stamkos/Doughty rookie year 08-09, you not only get some pretty RCs of great players, no card is over $50 and that's just for the best Stamkos. Plus people don't value doubles and triples at all. None of the cards are numbered, auto'ed or memorabilia. But that shiny foil is just gorgeous.

Canvas has the RNH YG that is triple digits.

Maybe you can collect some older insert sets?

I'm collecting the inserts from Pacific 02-03 and 03-04. It is cheap and fun.
