Sent a few Rookie cards off to BVG to have encased with the help of my friend Jay who saved me a bunch of $$$. Thanks again Jason, you da man. I was dissapointed with a few cards but I guess Beckett is the toughest grader out there. Scans are fuzzy but that is the best my cheap scanner will do.

First these 3 from 68-69, all are the highest Beckett grade to date. This is a very hard year to get anything in the 7 and above range according to the populations report. The Parent got hit pretty hard with the centering I guess but it is still by far the best one they have done if you can believe it.

Pretty happy with these, especially the Esposito and Dryden

And the one that made me smile the most. If not for a tiny printmark on it, it would have done even better

Thanks for the peek

John - It was a pleasure helping you out... and holding those vintage goodies (even if just for a few days). :D That stupid print spot on the Gretzky really cost you an 8 or more on that card. I was holding out hope that it would get an 8, but fell just short of that. The other cards were very sharp, but it seems the centering did them in. Still, all look great in those slabs. :)
