Grading at the Expo

Good evening HI members.I plan on attending the Spring Expo.Myself and another board member will have 3 booths.But I was wondering from someone that attends on a regular basis.Are the folks from Beckett Grading Services set up to do on site grading.Or will there only be KSA.I have a few cards I would not mind having done and being old fashion(plus old) I do not like to send things like that away.Thanks,Winston.

Hey Winston,
If you're talking about the expo in Toronto, I've never seen beckett grading there. Only KSA. I could be wrong but I'm sure I would have noticed. I've been to the last 3 expo's in T.O. Hope to see you there in May. Bring me some Maurice Richards.

Beckett was definitley not there in the Fall.
I think they might have been there in the past as I remember giving them some cards to grade but don't remember what year.

Blair they were there some time ago but were only doing the raw grading, the cards were not being slabbed. You would still have had to send them in to get the slab.

Thanks very much for the information.I really do not mind KSA.I find Rick does a great job but they simply do not get the respect that a couple other grading services get.I hope to meet a few of you people there.I will be at the tables that are not all that busy.I simple do not have the great stuff that so many others have.I am going because I just want to experience it one more time.I was there in 1998 and it was simply unbelieveable.Thanks again,Winston.

Beckett will not come north of the border any more. Apparantely their equipment gets hit with heavy duties coming over the border. KSA is always there. They do a decent job but unless you get a 10 they don't add much value to your card. Their holders are nice tho!

I look at grading as a good way to authenticate your vintage cards.It takes the guess work out of it being counterfit,shaved,etc...
