Hi everyone. Just looking for some advice on having these hi end cards graded. What grading company is best? Approximate price to have graded? I am not new to card collecting but no idea about grading. I have been told for the 3 cards above it is in my best interest to get them graded but is that the case?

Thanks

PSA is around a year backlog and their prices are going up. BGS is the same. I just got a bunch of cards back from MNT grading, which is near Toronto. They have a back log too, but are saying to add about 8 weeks to the time frame you pay for. I sent cards to them on Jan. 13, and had all of mine back on April 12. They increased their pricing but they are still more reasonable than PSA. Have a look at their website for their grading tiers.

They are VERY tough on grading. Their cases are really great looking as well.

Having those 3 cards graded would be a massive bump in their value if they grade a 10 or a 9.5. Its definitely worth it, but if you have to wait a year, the bubble may have burst by then.

If you're planning to sell them in the future, PSA and BGS , and to a lesser extent SGC will maximize their value.

If you're looking for the card to be slabbed/encased for your collection and are less interested in selling, then most other companies can provide that service.

It generally takes a long time for grading companies to earn the respect/trust of the marketplace.

Resale value on those guys, you can't go wrong with PSA or BGS (thought PSA i'd say has the slighty edge right now). But the wait time is crazy long and you'll be paying a premium price. If you're it for the long haul, they are still a great option.

If you want speed, MNT Grading is a solid option, too. They are tough graders + the slabs look nice, IMO.
