Another example of the pathetic voters who cast ballots for the All-Star Game. Grant Hill will be one of the starting forwards, along with Vince Carter, over Jermaine O'Neal.

Please. I understand Grant is a touchy story and everyone feels all warm inside, but him and VC starting? A new low. JO shouldn't be pleased, he deserves a starting spot on any team in the world, nevertheless the East All-Star team. He'll just have to dominate from the bench then.

Hill deserves a starting spot for all the hard work he's put in just to play again, and remaine healthy. carter on the other hand shouldn't start and i think everyone knows why

With all due respect, quit your whining. I understand he's your favorite player, and I agree that he is an amazing player, but the All-Star Game is not geared towards the "best" players, but rather the most popular. Otherwise it'd be called the All-Winners Game. Give me an All-Star team with nothing but champions, and then this thread would have merit. Until then, accept the fact that he's still on the team anyways.

JO= punching fans in the face
G. Hill= class act who has an amazing story

I love JO but no way he should start, he's missed games his team isn't great with him back and he is a PR nightmare still

i agree that J.O should start maybe fans would've voted for him if there weren't scared he would punch them in the face.

On the other hand, carter will be a starter for his entire career everyone loves to watch his highlights and thats all the allstar game is for.

You can make the same complaint about Yao Ming, who gets voted in purely by the fact there are 1 billion chinese people on the planet, and only 300 million americans.

Personally I think it's great to see Grant Hill back on All-Star weekend. Personally I think JO should be banned from ever being on the starting lineup of an All-Star team because if it wasn't for him MJ would have had the game winner in his last All-Star game.

As previously mentioned the AS game is not the game of the best players, but of the biggest fan favorites. JO's invlovement in the Pistons-Pacers brawl isn't going to make him a fan favorite.

I was going to say the same about only playing 30 or so games, VC is in the same boat of not deserving a spot---It is an all star game
I like Oneal and wont even pick him as a reserve this year
