My initial reaction is stay away. They are also talking about that auction on gameworn.net Some are questioning whether Gretzky ever wore the "A" for the Rangers. I would have no idea but it's a good question regardless. There is a huge Gretzky game worn collector on that other site. If he pipes in on the auction I'll let you know if you arent on that board already.

I wonder if he didn't take a picture of the bottom of the jersey on purpose. I believe that the jersey should have double CCM tagging on the back.

When Gretzky played for the Rangers - they wore Starter jerseys - that would have the double logo on the back hem. No picture of the hem raises an instant red flag. Also, Gretzky wore size 56 jerseys, and there would be velcro strips on the right side to keep the jersey tucked in.

No pictures of any telltale signs of a Gretzky gamer is more than enough to run away. Plus at that point, you can guarantee that ANY Gretzky gamer - especially in the last couple of years of his career would have some kind of an LOA attached, just for security purposes alone.

Most legit gretzky gamers end up on an auction site specializing in Sports memorabilia, not Ebay.

Hi! I'd like to get some more info on the jersey, if I can. Can you please post some more pics of the jersey on the auction? I'd like to see the front and back hems of the jersey (the bottom edges), inside and out, and also the inside of the collar where the size tag is. I'd really appreciate it if you could, it would help me decide if I want to bid!

For one, I've seen the rangers about 10 years ago in prectice and they jerseys are just plain grey with their name/number. Gretzky Always had his sleeves custom trimmed noticable shorter. that doesn't seem to.
