Hello there,

I have had these cards for years, been wanting to get them encapsulated and authenticated but never really knew how or where to get this done.
Not really that comfortable sending them from me in Sweden to the US, wait, and then have them sent back to me.
But JSA and Beckett turned out to be awesome, I am very impressed by their service and their prices. This was my first batch to them, I got 2 more signed Gretzky rookies and some more Pelle Lindberghs to send out to them. This signed Gretzky rookie is for sale, PM me Your offers if You are interested. Please study the card closely as the condition of the card is not mint, but it is a beautiful signed rookie nonetheless. The signed rookie for sale comes with a COA from Wayne Gretzky Authentic and has a WG Authentic sticker on the back as proof. High grade signature! On an impossible card to find signed.

With the other two signed Gretzky rookies, I will have the cards graded as well as the signature. The rookies were signed through WG Authentic, meaning they have an authenication sticker on the back. As seen in this pic below. Does this sticker mean the cards cannot be graded, or will they recieve a lower grade because of the sticker on the back?

Thanks for looking! =)

They actually put a sticker on the card?

:|

Thanks for Your comment!

Yeah, but thats the way they do it. Its part of the authentication process.
And it just shows... its the real deal.

But sure, some feel the sticker is way off to be put on such a card.
And some feel a signature is way off as well... But I have been wanting a signed Gretzky rookie for years, and now I got three with one of them for sale.

Now, what do You think about the grading process? Would the sticker mess with the overall grade? Im kinda guessing it would.......

Yes it would. But that card looks like it was folded a couple times anyways so I wouldnt worry about the grade. Get a better condition Gretzky RC without an auto and grade that one.
Are the other Gretzky autos you have posted stickered too?

Very nice cards. Just a thought though, aside from the first Gretzky rookie that you have signed, the other autos have to be the worst WG autos that I've seen. He must have been pretty lazy that day. Either way, very cool to have a signed rookie card of him.

The card pictured is already slabbed with an auto grade only,
and yes, the card itself is a little beat up.

But I have 2 more signed rookies, here are all three of them together:

Is it even possible to grade a card with a sticker on it?

The only WGA signature in the first post is actually only the one on the rookie, all the other signatures are vintage ones from the 1980s.
Its interesting to see how Gretzky signature actually improved over the years,
its usually the other way around with signatures. They get worse every year.

Very nice stuff there,of course I love the Lindbergh stuff.
Glad to see you have the Program showcased in your photobucket.
Hope all is well.
Always have a few more items if you need.
All the Best-
Ron
