ohh I was there, boxing was an event in those days & a great bout was talked about for days, I turn 60 in a couple of weeks (I hope) :beer:

My 1st pick in the draft was 2nd, was thrilled the Slew box was still there, 2nd pick was the gold Ortiz box, 3rd pick was the Hearns & grabbed the Warfield box last

Those fights, along with his two bouts with Leonard were before my time, but I loved watching them on ESPN classics Canada, probably what led me into becoming such an ardent combat sports enthusiast.
