So I was looking for a thread after seeing Horton use his skate as a weapon on Roloson after getting pushed down without any penalties and was going to complain but it's 2-0 now so seems like the hockey gods saw what he tried to do.

Any comments? I will try to find the video.

its a shame the bruins hid Seguin all this time. Now they have a good problem of who to cut if Bergeron comes back.

Tampa wise... Hedman is showing he earned that #2 pick. Obviously he was probably good all year but I don't follow the bolts normally and based on this game I thought he was exceptional. Maybe it's because the Caps never really pressured the Bolts like the Bruins are doing but even in the other rounds I didn't feel anything exceptional from the Tampa D other than a solid system.

Back in 08, I was hoping Tampa would pick Duchene and they would just have a ridiculous forward corp, but Stamkos, St. Louis, Lecavalier and Gagne are just as good, and even better when you have a solid Dman in Hedman.

Classy play Lucic. Guess if you cant beat them on the scoreboard you gotta suckerpunch them

Happens all the time, especially in the playoffs. Not trying to start a war here but have you watched the Canucks lately? After every whistle a Canuck is punching someone or pushing them down to the ice. It's not just the Bruins, almost every team is doing this stuff in the playoffs.

Agreed. Every team in the playoffs does it. I've seen the Canucks do it, I've seen the Hawks do it, the Habs, the Flyers, the Preds, the Wings, the Leafs... oh wait... that last one was just ridiculous.

When you have a goal scorer like Seguin why don't you use him or is Julien as stupid as he seems.Powerplay 2 for 41 keep using your character players it seems effective.

i'm not sure if it's julien.... was julien in charge when they didn't use Kessel in his rookie year? If so then yeah it's Julien. If not then it's management.

Because Seguin is in his rookie year, and he has not been a 'goal scorer' by any means all year. He simply had one nice goal in game one of the conf finals. In all reality it could be Shawn Thornton that scored and it wouldnt matter to anyone.

If Bergy comes back, there is a good chance Seguin is the one getting cut again, and I dont think anyone will put up a fuss. Of course I only say that because the Bs dont have any other candidates to be cut in the first place. TS is expendable for the time being.

I missed the 'punch'. Unless Luc is the one that hit Lecavalier. At any rate, who ever that B was, kudos to him (I want to say it was Ference or Boychuk). Solid hit on a TB player, Lecavalier tries to jump him and the B player gives him a jab to the jaw. Should have been matching penalties all the way, of course it leads to a TB PP and a goal...

Apparently the Bruins still cannot score on the PP on any other team except for the Flyers weakened defensive core.

I was thinking that the Bruins might get knocked off by the Bolts since it was another southeastern division team (Carolina Hurricanes) that sent them to the golf course a couple seasons ago.

Also, Tampa Bay has Dwayne Roloson, who looks like he is in playoff form again like he was 2006 with Edmonton. If Krejci's line is shut down again like in the series with the Habs, the Bolts will kill them them since Tampa Bay's second and third lines are much stronger offensively than Boston's second and third lines.

One guy I point out to that is overachieving this playoffs is Sean Bergenheim, who never played in the NHL playoffs before this season due to playing for the Islanders previously.
