2 questions:

1. Centennial Habs banner Stanley Cup Champ
- down to 1985/86
- were some years short printed
- seems like some are more expensive

2. Retired number banners
- when were these released
- are there fakes of these

Thanks, Anand

1. Yes, some were short, but I believe those were mostly the old-timey ones. These also tend to be more expensive, but as will happen with set collectors - when y'all need the same one at the same time, a particular copy can spike.

2. Do not recall, sorry.

BANNERS - Probably not short produced but some like the Dryden, Roy and some from different eras would sell for more.

Retired Numbers BANNERS - I saw THOSE at a few area shows along with some SC BANNERS and those were a non licensed product made in the FAR EAST - NOT a licensed UD product. Once you put one of each of the SC BANNERS side by side, you could see the different texture just like in FAKE patches!

That is my recollection from the Habs Centennial release.

Thanks for the info. Just wondered if anybody else had info on the Retirement Banners. I know that they were given away at some Habs games. I have a Lafleur. If anybody else has a checklist or one they would like to move please drop me a line. I am still looking for a 85/86 Centennial Banner.
