It's been over two years since Erica Blasberg died (at the age of 25). She was an up and coming golfer on the LPGA tour in which I believed had a tremendous future ahead of her. Erica was a very approachable girl and always gave a smile or a wink to the patrons following her.

On May 9th 2010 Erica was found dead in her home in Nevada. Her death was ruled a suicide. There is a tragic story that goes along with Erica but today we all celebrate her birthday and what an amazing person she was. She wasn't the most famous golfer out there and didn't have the following like a paula creamer or Natalie Gulbis (although I think she deserved it). What could've been.

If you want to learn more about the story I recommend you click this link and watch a bit of this video.

Erica's father, myself and my friend (who was also a fan) try our hardest to keep Erica's story and legacy to live on. We post up videos once in a while in honor of her.

This video was made for me and you can also check it out.

One more to take a look at is a slideshow of Erica's home picture

Erica has very little items to collect but I make the most of it when I get the chance. Here is some of my favorites. First off I will start with a magazine of Erica. I have a lot of magazines with Erica on the cover and inside but this one is by far my favorite.

Erica never had a golf card come out of her. The best I could do in that area was pick off a couple homemade card and a phonecard she was on.

Next are a couple of my favorite items. I love signed photos and was able to get my hands on a few of them. It is next to impossible to find a nice Blasberg signed photo these days.

And this is my favorite photo of them all. A picture of when she played on curtis cup with Michelle wie

These next few items are a couple things I got signed from the first time I met her.

Can you find her auto?

These next two items were straight from Erica's golf bag. A used ball (with her markings) and glove.

And now for my favorite item. This card was made by fellow member and friend of mine sbangayan86. Rich worked on this card after I found an auto that would work out. I must saw I love it and will never EVER part with it. The picture was from the first time I met her.

I hope you all enjoyed this and learned something about Erica. She is no longer with us so now we have to make sure her stroy lives on. I am going to do a post in the hockey section later on today showing of my memorabilia room and you can see this stuff on display.

Hey man, great collection. Hopefully you will soon be able to add even bigger and better pieces to it!

Have to say, the pieces shown in this thread hardly compare to seeing them all in actuality! Keep up the great efforts!
