Has anyone ever done this before?

Just curious if anyone has ever put a jigsaw puzzle together & then sealed it so it wont come apart. I want to do this to the Bobby Orr puzzle I won & was curious if anyone else had ever done that. My wife asked me if it would hurt the book value & I told her no because this way I have the puzzle to matte & Frame & the original box it came in. Just wondering if that procedure is a spray on or brush on???

I would leave it the way it is. But if you want to put the puzzle together. I would frame it and leave it.
