Have I uncovered a 1/1/1 ?

Maybe a bit of a rant (again), but I cannot believe just how bad Upper Deck's quality program is.

"The Cup", probably their flagship hockey product this year (at least it is priced as such) and they don't take the time to properly identify the "masterpiece" cards?

I have been monitoring the Andrew Ladd Masterpiece cards, and I have yet to see a single one that has Andrew Ladd pictured on the card So if one comes along with his picture on it, it may actually be a 1/1/1. I thought it would actually mean maybe a 1/1/3 since their are 3 colour variations of the same card, but I have become so skeptical of their ability to verify their quality that I am not so confident they can get all 3 with the same picture.

The other mystery is where have all the Andrew Ladd pictures gone? Who's "masterpiece" cards have Andrew Ladd pictured?

Glenn, you bring up an excellent point. There have been several error versions to surface already, I know Trish has one of Jay Harrison pictured and a different player named. Yeah, the old QC at UD is goofing off again it would appear.

I think if you look at the checklist for the set, the ones I have noticed are usually one player off. Whether the stacks got slightly misordered or what, I am not sure, but the Lessard error I saw and the Harrison error I have both are mixed up with guys really close to them in card #.

I haven't tried searching this out though, and it seems to be a problem in more than one set, as well.

Didn't expect that I'd have to run an Andrew Ladd search on ebay to find Chad LaRose plates

I'd have guessed that maybe the Ladd plates would end up with LaRose's name on them, but that doesn't seem to be the case either, because the "LaRose" plate currently on ebay pictures Martin St. Pierre.

The one plate I currently have in hand does picture ladd and does have him as the player named on the card. The other one I won also has the correct name and plate matching. The one currently ending today is incorrect.

Greg, which pressplates are they so that I know which one is at least accurate should I decide to grab one?
