Have you seen this card?

I bought this card on the bay about a month ago but never received it. I am totally P'd off about it because I needed it for my collection. I paid for 3 cards on the same day all from sellers located in different parts of Canada. The other 2 cards I paid for on the same day arrived about 3 weeks ago but yet I am still waiting everyday for this one and believe it or not even though we do live in different countries, this guy lives literally not even an hour from me across the border! Seller swears he sent it but can't give me any type of tracking info and I believe that he resold the item. Please take a look and let me know if you have seen it anywhere. Many thanks!

Quite possible that he is telling the truth as I have had a few packages from Ontario take almost 3 weeks to get to me when it normally takes 3-4 days. Certain areas are a little slower then others this time of year due to vacations and volume, etc.

I wouldn't give up on it yet, hopefully it shows up soon.

Living an hour apart, when the CAN / USA border is there means nothing. Sometimes customs is just very slow releasing the mail..... most times (like your other two cards) they are not.

As for no tracking, would you have paid $25 for shipping? That's what tracking would have cost.

I don't know the seller, so I can't say one way or another what has happened..... but I would add one more important piece of info: Paypal gives you 45 days to make a claim. You're still covered for a while yet. Have patience. When it does arrive, you'll see the post mark date and know if he mailed it out late or not.

I live in New York as well, and have waited five weeks for mail from Toronto. Sometimes it's really a pain in the butt.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. Btw for any of you Canadian sellers I have a question. If I ship to Canada, I am required to fill out a "Customs Declaration" which gives me a receipt and also has a (free) tracking number on it which I can submit to the sold item link on eBay so the buyer can be confidant that I sent the item and if they'd like they can then track it to it's whereabouts. Is there a similar procedure in Canada? I'm sure u have to fill out some kind of form and is there not any relevant tracking information given on the receipt? There is a method to send registered but that costs $$$ so I try to avoid it unless the card is of high value just for extra protection. I know sending from Canada, there is a similar option but is there a free tracking code included with the required customs form? All answers and comments are welcome. Thank you

I usually fill out a Small Packet form with all the info for Customs but there is no tracking number on it. The Post Office does stamp the back of the form with the date sent and from what Post Office. That is the only proof of being sent with the Senders addy & Buyers addy..

No Tracking though

__The Customs Declaration has to be filled for any and all packages to Canada and International. The Number on top of the Customs form is not a Tracking #(according to Ebay and Paypal policy--so I've been told). It is very limited as it does not show Delivery Confirmation,it does show acceptance @ PO and a "trail" of sorts of where your package has been--MOSt times it is not updated by PO Clerks.
Registered is the only method of sending w/ a reliable tracking #...sometimes it's unavoidable and it should be discussed during the negotiating of a deal.

I know this seller personally. If he says the card was sent, it was sent. This is his job and any negativity effects his income. He gets upset when cards do not arrive as he does everything in his power to make sure a smooth transaction occurs. He can not, like the rest of us, control how long it takes for cards to arrive.
I have personally sent cards to Sweden that have arrived in 4 days, yet cards sent to NY have taken almost 4 weeks. Customs are the ones to blame for any delay.

That form plus $11.75 for registered mail WILL get you tracking. That form plus or minus anything else will get your cash jacked from you and a chargeback to your paypal account. Personally, I roll the dice a lot with shipping, but I can afford to absorb the loss. Be sure you are in the same boat if you do not require tracking on everything you sell.
