Hawks sign Crawford to 6 yr extension

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with goaltender Corey Crawford on a six-year contract extension, through the end of the 2019-20 National Hockey League season.

Not a big fan of his. Hope he plays up to his pay.

Feel like the Hawks made two overpayments this year, Crawford and Bickell.

It's a bit of payback for winning the Cup. Just like Cam Ward. But the difference being that the Hawks made a boatload of cash.

Nice to do it on the day he has the Cup though.
