He Shoots He Scores Points

I've purchased ITG Heroes & Prospects packs for the first time this weekend. Of course, I pulled a few He Shoots He Scores Points cards. How does this promotion work? I know the points go towards purchasing certain cards. Can the cards be purchased only by points, or do the points deduct from the total cost of the cards, so I would only have to pay the difference?

If you read the back of the card it has all of the information on it. I believe you need 200 points this year and once you have them all you send them into ITG and they will send you a special card /20.

Yes, I read the card's back. Do I need 200 total points, or can I accumulate 100 points and then pay the difference in the cash value of the card?

Also, what sort of cards have in the past been available through this promotion?

You have to send 200points and you will get a game-used card /20.
Simple as that.

you can only use HSHS points to get the cards, you need 200 of them....no checklist posted yet for this years release, but here's a link to last years steller checklist

Best thing to do is to either trade for the difference or buy so on ebay...I don't believe they are that bad as far as price..and I am sure people that don't want them will be willing to trade at a fair price
