Verified Trader,
Hey everyone, been a busy few months, but happy to report that quite a few cool cards have come in! Hopefully more to come later this summer as I have been mailing out a lot of envelopes also during the May and June.
Just to answer a question someone asked from another post: most of my customs are blank-back. It just takes too much time to re-construct the back, and I don't like the idea of making a generic backside for all my customs. The odd time I do create the back is usually for situations where I know the autograph can be guaranteed by a store or show; I like to have the COA hologram on the completed backside.
First, a few pick-ups of non-Canucks variety:
Always liked Nabokov, especially in that Sharks 3rd jersey; although he has quite a few autographed cards out there, the nicer ones are becoming harder and harder to find now:

Owen Nolan - one of my favorite players of all time. I was very tempted to use this patch in a custom, but the card is pretty nice as is, so I've decided to keep it intact. My custom will have to wait till another day for completion:

Derek Roy Parkhurst Rookie /100 - like the look of this set more and more with time; I remember these RCs /100 were wildly expensive back a few years ago:

A number of new Canucks additions:

Mike W. Brown!! I hope to get this guy's autograph one of these days; when I was just a kid, his MVP RC was one of my favorite cards for some reason:

New customs!
First, two cards I made for the girlfriend after taking her onto the ice for the first time - she's picking this game up pretty quick (the Shield is a random manufactured logo, it was not game-worn):

Two from Ossi Vaananen:

Two from Lee Goren:

Two from Mathieu Schneider:

Mika Noronen

Two from Martin Rucinsky:

Two from JJ Daigneault:

Two from Dany Sabourin:

Corey Schwab!

Two from Jim Agnew:

Two from Chris Joseph:

Andrew Alberts:

Herbert Vasiljevs!!

Marco Sturm:

Sergei Nemchinov:

Two from Steve Pinizzotto (he didn't get any RCs this year...perhaps in 13-14?)

Two from Chris Tanev (he never got any auto'd RCs):

Best 3 custom returns/completions over the last 3 months:
3. Alex Morgan - a very talented American striker..her autographs are selling for outrageous amounts on ebay; I would probably never land one, and to be honest, I didn't think any of them really looked that great..
Hence, my own custom version (signed after a 10 month wait):

And an 8x10

2. Igor Larionov - he disappeared off the TTM scene for about a year, which was quite a bummer considering Larionov is one of my favorite HOFers, not to mention Canuck. I feel these two customs turned out real well, except the fact that in my haste, I forgot to insert his name on the Flashback Fabrics card:

1. Ivan Hlinka - not a TTM return obviously, but rather, a cut autograph. It is very difficult to find Hlinka autos these days, especially on plain white paper. That yellow flying V is really growing on me though:

For those of you unfamiliar with the quote in the title, "He'll play, you know he'll play. He'll play on crutches!" is a famous call by Jim Robson in the '94 Cup Finals after Linden was injured in the final minute of play of Game 6 (by Mark Messier), leading to perhaps one of the most famous hockey photographs in Canucks history: a bloody Trevor Linden embracing goalie Kirk McLean in utter exhaustion.
This card is just exceptionally well-done by Upper Deck! I probably over-paid for it, but seeing that it is /10, and knowing that likely more than 10 people just on this forum alone are probably after a copy, made it worthwhile:
