Afternoon all,

Well the powers that be have granted me permission to purchase a lower priced case of cards.

I rarely bust boxes anymore after the price hikes from the postal service. It made it way to expensive to sell and trade for me. So I have stuck to buying singles.

Anywho.. the last case (and only case) I ever opened was 05-06 Beehive back in the day.

Sooooo.. here is the idea. I have been trolling Dacard world and would like to stay $600ish or less. My idea is that if its a mid level product that I might actually try and do a master set. I am always a fan of BTP. But really have little experience with any product in the last 2 or 3 year.

They have a lot on sale right now and would be ordering in the next few days.

What would you buy? 2 half cases? 1 expensive case? random boxes? What has a good bang for the buck?

Thanks,

Chance

To me, the only reason I would buy a case would be if it were a set I wanted to do. Or maybe if you already had an outlet for unwanted base cards. I personally prefer some variety, which is why I buy those random pack boxes you find at department stores.

I personally think the best bang for your buck is with the Panini products - good class and good prices for 2013/14 stuff. You can get a case of Crown Royale for a bit over $600 I think, I really liked Select and am pretty sure you can get a case of that for under $600.

Good luck with your choice - you can always go with 13/14 Upper Deck as well. Case may be a bit higher than that (can't remember for sure) but that was a nice product as well.

Honestly check it all out but do check the 12-13 panini Classics if you want a vintage themed product.I've busted a bunch along with a slew of others and super happy with what I got. You got player collectors, many set chasers, Short prints..... Great, great bang for the buck

Good luck with whatever you decide

I personally like totally certified from the 13-14 products not sure what a case goes for though, remember if you buy an older product watch out for expired redemptions

I'd take a look at rookie anthology too, if you are going to GI the 2013 panini route.

Check out some YouTube breaks to see what catches your eye.

I'd also go with a full case. Guarantees case hits.

13-14 Rookie anthology has a ton of good stuff in it!
Definitely my favorite release of the 13-14 year!

Depends on what your priority's are,if its for pc or something to flip for profit or tradebait.you said you liked BTP,well there are some nice 10 box cases for under $400 available on Steel City collectibles.from 10-11,12-13 and 13-14.they also have some Enforcers II for around the same price, all of those cases would have free shipping as well.those would be my choices for my personal collection, then again i get more of a thrill pulling a Scott Parker jersey over a Mackinnon one;).if your doing a rip and flip i'd say Panini Anthology,Select or Certified.all can be had well under your $600 limit.and Select has one of the two or three "live" Tarasenko auto'd RC's.

You can get a 20 box case of 2013-14 BTP for $650 at D&A. Plus there is still time to redeem the points. That will likely be my next case, they are a lot of fun to open.
