New Member, Must Send First,
I'm looking for a few cards to complete a couple of sets from Stickwork and National Treasures. Any help is appreciated. [wasn't sure which section was right for this.... hopefully it's ok here.]
Stickwork - I need the quad stick rack with Lemieux, Jagr, Francis & Robitaille (see below). There's 1 Gold version and 9 Silver versions according to the checklist.
The Gold version actually ended at auction last night. I had every intention of winning it, but I got distracted helping an elderly neighbor. I missed it by seconds... ugh. Anyway, if you won it or know who did... I'm open to buying or trading it if you aren't tied to it.
National Treasures - I wanted to take a crack at the All Stars set (see an example below). It's only 20 cards, but they are numbered to the number of All Star games the player was in.... which means there are a few low numbered cards. Crosby 1/1, Tavares 1/1, Toews /2, Datsyuk, /3, Lindqvist /3, Ovechkin /4, etc.
I'm not sure this one is worth pursuing because I don't trust that Panini. Tons of NT has been busted and I've watched for these pretty closely yet I've never seen a Roy /11, Brodeur /9 or Hull /8.... I realize they are all low numbered but it seems unlikely that none of them have surfaced.
Also have never seen the Crosby 1/1 or Datsyuk /3 and have only seen 1 each of the Ovechkin /4 and Lundqvist /3. I worry that the Crosby is in some Panini employee's PC.
Anyway... if you are sitting on any of these and want to sell or trade it, please let me know. Otherwise this is a set I might give up on soon.
