Hello,
Here are the case details:

August 20, 2012: I sell a 10-11 SPGU Authentic Fabrics Doan/Bryzgalov Dual Patch card 25/25 to eBay ID palacecards, and someone named Sylvain Martel from Jonquiere, Quebec. That ID currently has 4 neg/neutral feedback.

August 21, 2012: The card ships.

September 14, 2012: Paypal claim opened without prior communication for not having received the card.

October 4, 2012: The Paypal claim expires without further comment from Sylvain (or Alex Martel -- the name on the Paypal account)

October 15, 2012: Message received through eBay threatening negative feedback if I don't send a refund. I replied that I didn't like the process he was going through and asking why the poor communication effort, then refunded the 10.50$ to save my feedback.

(Everything above this is an experience I was thinking of reporting to the HI community even before the resurfacing of the card.)

Fast forward to this weekend:
November 17, 2012: I'm on eBay telling an old trading partner who I'm collecting these days, including dabbling in Doan and Bryzgalov. He tells me about an SPGU Authentic Fabrics Dual Patch Doan/Bryzgalov 25/25 which he traded for the day before (so he didn't yet have it in hand).
I told him the back story behind the card, showed his the sales link to confirm it being the same card, and got the name of the trading partner named Guillaume Grenier in Sherbrooke, Quebec (with whom he had previously made a flawless deal). My friend Fred contacting Guillaume about where he got it, he said he got it from someone named Alexandre Tremblay -- someone neither of us knows.

So: Does anybody have any trade experience with any of these names?
Is there any way to connect Alex or Sylvain Martel with a Mr Alexandre Tremblay or even with Guillaume Grenier himself?

Important: I'm not accusing anybody of anything (beyond palacecards being a dink at communication), I'm just curious if there's a way to link any of the people and re-create the path my card took from being traded out of Ontario, into Quebec, and now hopefully up to Nunavut.

My other thought it possible mail fraud, as I had a second package 'not arrive' also sent on August 21, also to Quebec, though it was a basic, non-traceable single jersey card.

I don't think there's much I can do about it.
I'm not at a huge loss, but it would be nice to know if there were any feedback available from the HI members about any of the people involved in the resurfacing of my missing card, even if it's just letting me know about a dirty trader I'd never heard of.

Thank you for any ideas or info!

Andrew
