Good morning HI's

I have accumulated over 500 common young guns but am interested in trading for Jersey cards. (my son and I show lots of interest in them)

What would be the easiest or most efficient way to post what I have young gun wise ?
Viewing what people have listed for trade/want looks pretty professional and would like to keep up with the rest of you.

Any advise help would be appreciated

Thanks

Nick

Nick,

There are a few ways to go about this. The simplest way is to simple post a new thread on the Hockey Trading Area, and list what YG's you have. Then simply list what you are looking for. If you are looking for any jerseys card, just say that. Or say "I have these Young Guns available FT, I'm looking for Chicago Blackhawks jerseys in return" if you want to be more specific.

For example, here is my full list of Traders.

http://hobbyinsider.net/forum/showthread.php?t=389873

At the top, I list what my interests are, and then after that is a list of all cards I have available to trade for those interests.

Other methods include scanning all of your Young Guns into an online place to host your images. (Photobucket, flickr, etc.) and have people view the ones available that way.

Members also have their own trade websites set up (Weebly I think is one that does this) and you can list your traders and edit them on your own website.

I find it easiest to just post a thread here, but that's personal opinion/preference. If you post a thread here, you can always edit the original post to remove traded cards or add new cards available to it.

Hope that helps a bit.

Keep in mind, pictures aren't entirely necessary to be posted with your trade lists... you can do the list, get it posted up, then work on scans if you wish afterwards. If someone does want to see a picture of something you do not yet have scanned, you can do it at that time of course.

Best of luck!

This is what I do. I just make a big list of all my stuff, and then if someone wants to see a scan/picture of something, I'll provide that when requested. But if you have 5000 cards, scanning/photographing them all would be very time consuming.

to add to what everyone said, pictures of YGs aren't really needed unless it's a high end one that someone wants to get graded. 95% of YGs as long as they are in properly taken care of someone isn't going to say no to because of a fuzzy corner or off centering.

list should be fine for most of what you have
