Help PLEASE with NHL10/PS3 issues

Okay, so I am having some Be A GM issues with NHL10 for PS3.
I have had 2 seperate times where, no matter what, at some point, the game will freeze, and if I go back and reload the saved GM, it will freeze at the same time (whatever the next save point is). The saved file will then be corrupted and unplayable.
So I started a THIRD Be A GM, and am saving it every 10 games, so that if something goes wrong, I can at least reopen it with minimal loss. So, I played game 50 today, saved it, and saved it as BeAGM1 50 GAMES, and also as just BeAGM1. When I go to open it (playing as the Flyers) it is stuck in AHL mode, and I can't use L2/R2 to get back to the NHL screen, and it just doesn't realize that I am playing as the Flyers; it only gives me the Pahntoms. Any ideas? Does this sound like the disc giving me bad saves, or the system? This is THE ONLY GAME (counting NHL08 and NHL09) where I've had this issue. Any help would be great.

Try deleting the 'game data' and do a new install of that game. I had issues like that for Uncharted and Fifa, and it resolved the issues. Hope that helps.

That has happened to me with the AHL issue had to start a new I have an added issue as well I don't get the comintator on 75% of my games, if I play 3-4 straight games he then shows up, any ideas on that?
ps calling EA is pointless they just go through basic 2 year old set-up features.

from what i remember being told. it is a glitch in the games that can occur. you may have to erase your memory cache (you can find info online, fairly easy) it usually works fine after that.
