Help! Which should I do? (Pers. Project)

So I've decided that I would like to start a little project for myself, something to work on on the side while I collect my Carey Price cards. Being a huge Canadiens fan I know its gonna be centred around them, the one question is what player/s should I focus on.

After a lot of thought I came up with 2 ideas that I thought would be really interesting to work on (and one day once completed frame and display)

My ideas were:
1) a set of cards (gu or au) of each player who has his jersey retired by the club
or a much longer project
2) a set of cards (gu or au when possible) of each goaltender who has played for the CH.

lmk what you guys think I should do, or if you have other suggestions I'm all ears. This is my 1st undertaking of a task like this so any help or tips would be appreciated

I chose the retired jerseys. Either way, you can bet that at a certain point it's going to get in terms of prices.

The retired jerseys thing will be very difficult to do given the super-scarcity of the likes of Ken Dryden and Jacques Plante memorabilia. The second one is made somewhat easier by the Centennial set. You've got a base card of most of them right off the bat!

I thought of the same thing, in either set, players like Dryden are gonna make my job very difficult.
