Hello all:

I just got this as a replacement for a Basketball redemption.

Wonder what everyone's thoughts on value would be.

Thanks

Pretty valuable to a Doughty collector (and there are many). Some collectors don't value printing plates but because it's auto'd and he's a star I think you could sell it for quite a bit.

I hope this helps a bit.

Disagree guys...I've seen some of the auto'd plates sell for less than $200...in one case last year, I saw it hover around the $100 mark. I don't know if Doughty's hobby love has gone up since say, this point last year, but I'm thinking more $150

It was a biggie
Kevin Durant Kevin Garnet Dual auto XX/25

trying to gauge if I got something close to equal value

Since most of us here don't follow basketball just curious how that card would sell on ebay. Thanks.

if thats it then I think you lost out a bit. Kevin Durant is going to be one of the hottest guys this year especially if OKC can make some noise in the playoffs (even maybe win it in this shortened season). Plus KG is awesome.

Doughty is awesome to people in LA but he's a Dman. To put it in basketball terms, this would be like getting a Rodman replacement for your Jodran.

Was the dual not being made or did you get sick of waiting? I would rather have the dual, even if it's a /25. One of the up and coming star/veteran star and possible H.O.F. versus a plate 1/1. Did you ask for any hockey replacement or was Doughty part of your request?

Pretty sure Doughty was live in every product his rookie year. Never remember a single Doughty redemption in 08-09

I believe every autograph Printing Plate Drew Doughty had in the Cup product was not put as redemptions, I have 8 of them and 7 of the 8 I know forsure people received as a "replacement" and one claimed he pulled it in a pack and I call BS on it when I already had two copies of the same auto plate and both people received them as replacements.

To throw some fuel on the fire -- the autographed Cup plates for Doughty are all on the checklist. I looked at Beckett as well as Upper Deck's website. So, it's not like they were just tacked on as extras well after the release. They were planned, and checklisted, as part of the packout. For whatever reason, they were held back.

you mean you have 2 of the same colour printing plates or just 2 from the same series (In this case I believe this one is an SPX auto) of various colour

The card was not made Durant stopped signing for Upper Deck
It was from 2008 Ultimate Basketball. redeemed in June of 08 by me if memory serves
