Hey Burlington People!!!

There was a place called Major Leagues in Headon Plaza. Haven't been there in about 8 years, though, so I'm not sure how the prices are or if it's even still around. I stopped collecting for a few years, and since I got back into it I've just been buying everything online.

I actually got my best pull (00-01 UD 500 goal club Gretzky auto /25) from a box I purchased there.

Major leagues closed his doors shortly aftr the lock out started. Not everyone was a fan of the owner, but he was always very fair to me and his prices were great. Since Imperial Coin and Stamp moved to Hamilton, I can't think of a single place you would buy cards in Burlington....

Aww, that sucks to hear. I never had a problem with the owner either. He seemed like a good guy to me.

Im just North of you in Milton. Closest places, aside from Orangeville are Untouchables close to Square One, cant remember the name but there is a place in Oakville off of Spears before you get to Lakeshore. Not much in the way of singles, but they do have wax. But I usually buy all my boxes from Paul at Queensway. Great guy and great prices.

Not sure if AllStar has trade nights or not, but anyone up for a roadtrip?

Had no idea there were so many of us Burlingtonians on here.

I never had a problem with the guy at Major Leagues, either, though he could be a little standoffish.

I don't buy hockey cards anymore but Comic Connection on Kerr in Oakville is a nice shop. Great guy and good prices on wax.

Welcome to the town sir... its growing like a weed. Only two short years ago, if you ever needed directions to some place, the answer was always..."its just off Main St."

Thanks.
yeah got that figured out. At least it's not easy to get lost but does the mall have to be so lacking?

Milton isn't nearly as friendly as it was even 2.5 years ago when I got married there. Look in the Northeast direction towards my old hometown Brampton, because that is your fate when it's all said and done. It makes me happy that Acton has a population cap.
